Arizona secured a critical victory in their playoff push as Brandon Pfaadt tossed nearly eight innings despite traffic on the paths, moving within a single game of Philadelphia. Meanwhile, the rotation faces a hurdle after Corbin Burnes landed on the injured list with shoulder inflammation following a troubled throwing session, prompting plans for Ryne Nelson to open a bullpen game.
