Deion Sanders' new play-caller gets defensive: 'I'll try to be polite'

Colorado’s offense has struggled since Deion Sanders hired Brennan Marion as offensive coordinator last December, installing a “Go‑Go” scheme. The Buffaloes sit 2‑3, have dropped three straight games and rank 122nd out of 138 teams in scoring, averaging just 18.6 points per game.

When Marion was quizzed by local media on Oct. 14, he grew defensive, pausing before noting his frustration with repeated run‑game questions and insisting he will answer politely.

He reminded reporters of his past success with top‑10 rushing attacks at UNLV and Sacramento State, and emphasized that head coach Prime decides the quarterback. Marion said the team will start transfer Isaac Wilson at quarterback for the upcoming home game against Utah, while 19‑year‑old Julian “JuJu” Lewis remains sidelined after being pulled at halftime against Baylor.
