Deion Sanders discusses QB plans, Texas Tech matchup in weekly presser

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders addressed the media ahead of a daunting three-game stretch against ranked opponents, keeping his starting quarterback decision under wraps following a recent switch from Julian Lewis to Isaac Wilson. Sanders indicated he has communicated with Wilson but not Lewis, though he noted that any definitive choice regarding Saturday's contest against Texas Tech will be determined by upcoming practice sessions.

In addition to the quarterback situation, Sanders provided a concerning update regarding linebacker Tyler Martinez, who left the previous contest against Baylor with an injury and now faces a potential season-ending absence in a walking boot. Despite these setbacks and recent defensive struggles, Sanders expressed strong confidence in his coordinators and roster depth, highlighting reserves like Gideon Lampron, Liona Lefau, and Gage Goldberg as capable options to help shoulder the load.
