Deion Sanders Defends Costly Mistake Behind Colorado's ASU Loss as Hot Seat Pressure Mounts

Coach Deion Sanders is facing intense criticism following Colorado's 20-10 defeat to Arizona State in Week 10. The scrutiny focuses on his clock management, specifically his decision not to utilize two available timeouts during a second-quarter drive that left the Buffaloes with minimal time to score before halftime.

Sanders defended his approach during a November 7 press conference, arguing that his choices were based on instinct rather than standard tactical procedures. The loss, which saw Arizona State take an early lead and maintain it throughout the contest, has intensified questions regarding the team's discipline and overall performance.
