Deion Sanders benches Julian Lewis, revives Colorado’s biggest problem

Colorado football coach Deion Sanders made a major lineup change during Saturday's matchup, benching starting quarterback Julian Lewis at the start of the second half after the team fell behind 10-3. Lewis had completed 11 of 16 passes for 75 yards before being replaced by Utah transfer Isaac Wilson, continuing a persistent quarterback dilemma for the program following Shedeur Sanders' departure to the NFL in 2025.
