Dean Kremer’s tenure in Baltimore finally ended in 2026

Following an inconsistent tenure that began with the Manny Machado trade, Dean Kremer saw his time with the Orioles conclude during the 2026 season. Initially beginning the year at Triple-A Norfolk, the right-hander quickly returned to the major league rotation after an early injury to Zach Efflin.

Despite a few strong initial outings, including a nine-strikeout debut against the Diamondbacks and a solid return from the injured list against the White Sox, Kremer struggled significantly down the stretch, culminating in an eight-run outing in Detroit. At the 2026 Trade Deadline, Mike Elias dealt the pitcher to Minnesota in exchange for young outfielder Jhomnardo Reyes.
