Miami suffered an early roster blow during Sunday's game against Kansas City when running back De'Von Achane left the contest due to a knee issue. The offensive playmaker was forced to exit during the opening period following an eleven-yard catch that moved the chains, walking slowly off the pitch alongside medical staff after sustaining an awkward tackle.
Prior to his departure, Kenneth Walker opened the scoring for Kansas City via a ten-yard rushing score. Miami responded immediately on a lengthy drive culminating in a three-yard touchdown courtesy of Ollie Gordon to level the score at seven all.
