Davante Adams must be better for Rams as NFL season continues

The Los Angeles Rams faced an alarming setback to begin their campaign, suffering a 27-7 defeat against the San Francisco 49ers on neutral turf in Australia on Thursday night. Despite holding high expectations as frontrunners for Super Bowl LXI following major roster upgrades—including acquiring Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns and witnessing Aaron Donald come out of retirement—the squad stumbled badly in their opener.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford and the rest of the unit struggled to find any rhythm during the lopsided affair.

Much of the focus falls on veteran wideout Davante Adams, who paired up with Puka Nacua but failed to spark the offense as questions arose regarding Sean McVay's wide receiver rotations. Despite the discouraging twenty-point defeat, head coach McVay expressed optimism that the initial outing would not end up defining his team's year.
