Daniel Jones fumbles, Commanders score first in London

Daniel Jones endured a difficult opening sequence during today's matchup in London. Following a deflected throw on the initial snap, the Indianapolis quarterback surrendered a strip-sack to Odafe Oweh on the very next play.

Washington capitalized on the turnover by taking over deep inside opponent territory at the 21-yard line. Although the offense failed to pick up a fresh set of downs, Drew Stevens successfully converted a 31-yard field goal attempt.

This early sequence put the Commanders ahead by a score of three to zero with only two minutes elapsed on the game clock.
