Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott and coach Brian Schottenheimer addressed a costly late-game decision following a narrow defeat to the Baltimore Ravens. During the final moments of regulation with the team trailing, Prescott fired the ball out of bounds on a crucial third-down play despite receiver George Pickens finding separation in the end zone.
Schottenheimer shouldered the blame after the contest, admitting he instructed the signal-caller to discard the pass if the primary target was covered. Baltimore subsequently claimed a 34-31 victory after Lamar Jackson set up a game-winning 56-yard field goal by kicker Tyler Loop as time expired.
