Cummins Admits Australia Must Find Answers After South Africa Routs

Australia has lost its top-ranked status in Test cricket following a 2-1 series defeat to South Africa. The visitors suffered a 176-run loss in the final match after failing to chase a target of 288, marking their second consecutive heavy defeat after an innings loss in the second Test.

Captain Pat Cummins acknowledged that the team must evaluate potential shifts in strategy and roster composition to regain their standing. The skipper also addressed his tactical choice to field first at the start of the match, which proved ineffective against the opposition's spin bowling.
