Cricketer Vansh Bedi has strongly denied any involvement in a recent sting operation controversy that incorrectly linked him to leaked team secrets. The athlete released an official statement on social media to clarify that online rumors connecting him to allegations raised by former domestic player Rachit Bhatia are entirely baseless and defamatory.

Bedi confirmed that his legal representatives have already initiated both civil and criminal proceedings against parties spreading the false claims online. The underlying controversy stems from an undercover investigation regarding confidential information within the sport, though the original probe never named Bedi.

Meanwhile, the Delhi and District Cricket Association issued a separate response dismissing the circulating corruption claims tied to the regional league as unverified while urging authorities to examine the matter properly.
