Cowboys interested in trade for Steelers CB Joey Porter Jr.

Jerry Jones and the front office in Dallas are exploring a potential mid-season trade for Pittsburgh cornerback Joey Porter Jr. according to league insider Adam Schefter.

The franchise is looking to bolster its defensive backfield following injuries to Cobie Durant and P.J. Locke while pursuing an aggressive championship strategy.

While Pittsburgh is open to listening to incoming proposals, the organization reportedly demands a significant return package before parting ways with the defender. Past negotiations between these two front offices have previously resulted in transactions involving George Pickens and Broderick Jones.
