Concerning Northwestern Injury News Ahead of Penn State Matchup

Northwestern faces a depleted roster heading into its upcoming Friday night clash against Penn State at the newly opened stadium, with multiple starters and contributors appearing on the initial availability report. Tight end Luke Dehnicke, receiver Hayden Eligon II, along with defensive backs Braden Turner and Damon Walters, are currently listed as questionable, while defensive back Josh Fussell carries a doubtful designation following the Indiana contest.

Dehnicke looks to build upon a historic 140-yard receiving performance against fifth-ranked Indiana, while Eligon attempts to return from a lower-body issue sustained in the opener against South Dakota State. The squad will also navigate the remainder of the campaign without starting offensive lineman Ezomo Oratokhai, who was previously ruled out due to an injury suffered against Colorado.

Additional updates will arrive through the conference's mandated reporting windows as kickoff approaches.
