Colts rule out Keenan Allen

Wide receiver Keenan Allen will not take the field for the Colts in their upcoming matchup against the Commanders. After sitting out Friday's practice session due to a groin issue carrying a questionable tag, team officials officially sidelined him on Saturday.

His current production for the year stands at 13 receptions, 100 receiving yards, and a single touchdown. In response to his absence, the franchise promoted wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine up from the practice squad following his recent appearance in the victory over the Texans.

Additional depth options at the receiver position include Josh Downs, Laquon Treadwell, Deion Burks, Anthony Gould, Ashton Dulin, and Darius Slayton. Among those names, Dulin carries a questionable designation, while Slayton has yet to make an appearance since joining the roster the prior month.
