Colts lead as Commanders' offense sputters behind third-string QB Athan Kaliakmanis

Washington is forced to turn to rookie third-string quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis after Marcus Kaliakmanis's teammate Marcus Mariota suffered a knee injury, compounding prior injuries to starter Jayden Daniels. At halftime, the Colts hold a 10-6 advantage over Washington.

Indianapolis has capitalized on the visitors' quarterback turmoil, though their own signal-caller, Daniel Jones, has struggled mightily. The lone touchdown for the Colts came via a Jonathan Taylor rush, a scoring sequence aided by an unnecessary roughness call against Washington defender Amik Robertson.
