Colts’ green dot gaffe falls firmly on coaching staff’s shoulders

Safety Camryn Bynum previously handled the green dot duties during the Week 1 defeat, but fast snaps orchestrated by Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson frequently left the deep defensive back scrambling toward the huddle to issue calls.

After acknowledging the missteps and operational breakdowns caused by the initial setup, the Colts elected to transfer play-calling transmission to Davis-Gaither to streamline instructions. Meanwhile, Indianapolis prepares for its upcoming road matchup against Kansas City while managing additional roster questions, including Anthony Richardson Sr.
