Colts franchise falls to new low of mediocrity after being upset at home by once winless Titans

The Indianapolis Colts suffered a 26-20 home defeat to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, dropping their record to 2-4 while the Titans improved to 1-5. Despite holding a 13-0 lead at the half, the Colts collapsed in the second half, surrendering a fumble, an interception, and a blocked punt that was returned for a touchdown.

The defensive line was particularly ineffective, recording zero sacks against a Titans offense that generated six. The loss occurred during a halftime ceremony honoring Hall of Famer Adam Vinatieri, with former players including Dallas Clark, Dwight Freeney, Tarik Glenn, Edgerrin James, Robert Mathis, and Bill Polian in attendance.

Veteran defensive tackle DeForest Buckner expressed his frustration with the team's recurring struggles, stating he was sick and tired of the same pattern repeating every year.
