Colorado football news: Buffaloes making quarterback change ahead of Texas Tech clash

Following a 23-13 defeat against Baylor that dropped their record to 2-2, the Colorado football program is shaking up its lineup. Head coach Deion Sanders has decided to bench starting quarterback Julian Lewis in favor of Isaac Wilson for the upcoming matchup against the twelfth-ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Wilson, who stepped in during the previous contest and is the younger sibling of former BYU standout Zach Wilson, will take over leadership of the offense. Lewis had opened the first four games of the season, accumulating 733 passing yards and six touchdowns before being pulled during the recent loss.
