Colorado Buffaloes quarterback questions grow after loss to Baylor

Colorado dropped to 2-2 overall and 0-1 in the conference following a 23-13 defeat against Baylor in their Big 12 opener. Head coach Deion Sanders benched Julian Lewis at halftime in favor of Isaac Wilson after the offense generated just three points in the opening two quarters.

Wilson sparked the unit by throwing for 156 yards and a touchdown, highlighted by a 95-yard drive ending in a 17-yard scoring pass to Joseph Williams. Despite missing several key playmakers due to injuries, Williams contributed 127 receiving yards while Quanell Farrakhan added 117 yards, but ongoing struggles in short-yardage conversions and a late fumble halted the comeback attempt.
