The Iowa Hawkeyes secured a dramatic 20-19 victory over Michigan at Ann Arbor, overcoming a late deficit through a last-second touchdown pass from Hank Brown to Reece Vander Zee. Earlier in the fourth quarter, head coach Kirk Ferentz faced heavy criticism from supporters for choosing a 51-yard field goal attempt by Caden Buhr on a fourth down while trailing.

Although the kick missed and left Iowa behind, a quick defensive stop gave the ball back to the offense for the game-winning drive, which also featured a crucial completion to Addison Ostrenga.
