College Football QB Power Rankings: Anthony Colandrea climbs ahead of big test vs. Indiana

Anthony Colandrea has defied early skepticism to emerge as Nebraska’s most dynamic quarterback this season. After replacing Dylan Raiola in the transfer portal, Colandrea has transformed the Cornhuskers’ offense with his mobility, accumulating 174 rushing yards over the past two games against Michigan State and Maryland.

His career-best quarterback rating of 160 and just two interceptions have solidified his rise to 14th in the CBS Sports quarterback power rankings. With a critical showdown against No.

7 Indiana looming, Colandrea’s dual-threat ability will be tested against a Hoosiers team led by transfer QB Josh Hoover, who remains in the top 10 rankings himself. Meanwhile, Darian Mensah continues his dominance for Miami, leading the nation in efficiency and scoring a rushing touchdown in the Hurricanes’ latest win.

Keelon Russell’s explosive playmaking for Alabama further underscores the Crimson Tide’s offensive firepower, as he outshone Mississippi State’s Kamario Taylor in a dominant 56-23 victory.
