Colby Covington Vs. Dillon Danis Grappling Match Booked For Hype Rome

Colby Covington and Dillon Danis will face off in a submission-only grappling match on November 3 as part of Hype Fighting’s Rome event. The bout marks a rematch of sorts, as Covington previously defeated Danis at RAF 7 in March with a technical fall victory.

Since leaving the UFC nearly two years ago, Covington has built a 5-0 record in Real American Freestyle (RAF), where he also holds the Cruiserweight Crossover title. Meanwhile, Danis has struggled to regain momentum, with losses to Covington and Khamzat Chimaev in recent grappling matches, though he did secure a win over Warren Spencer in an MMA exhibition at Misfits 22 last August.

Covington’s schedule remains packed, as he is also set to face Chimaev at RAF Abu Dhabi on November 14.
