Ahead of their upcoming matchup against the Green Bay Packers, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers held a Wednesday practice session missing several key athletes. Quarterback Baker Mayfield was already ruled out of the contest, while wide receiver Chris Godwin sat out due to an ankle problem.
Godwin's absence follows the team's decision to place Jalen McMillan on the injured reserve list just a day prior.
Additional defensive contributors also missed the midweek workout. Pass rushers Yaya Diaby and Rueben Bain were both sidelined with a mix of calf, shoulder, and groin injuries, with Bain having missed the previous weekend's defeat to the Minnesota Vikings.
Several other players were absent or limited as well, including Ko Kieft, Rakeem Nuñez-Roches, Jacob Parrish, SirVocea Dennis, Bucky Irving, Keionte Scott, and Josiah Trotter.
