Ahead of their Week 3 Sunday afternoon clash, the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins have finalized their inactive rosters. Kansas City enters the matchup with championship aspirations, while Miami is navigating a transitional rebuilding year.
The Chiefs will be missing tackle Josh Simmons due to a back problem and safety Chamarri Conner, who was downgraded from doubtful with a knee injury. Additional Kansas City inactives include tight end Jared Wiley, linebacker Jack Pyburn, and defensive end Tyreke Smith, with Garrett Nussmeier designated as the emergency quarterback.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins sidelined wide receiver Caleb Douglas because of an ankle sprain and edge rusher Robert Beal, Jr. with a hamstring issue.
They are joined on Miami's inactive list by cornerback Marcellas Dial, Jr., guard DJ Campbell, and tackle Chukwuebuka Godrick, alongside Brady Cook serving as the third emergency signal-caller. Kickoff for the contest is scheduled for 1 p.m.
