Chicago Cubs history unpacked — October 9

Decades later, legendary performances filled the calendar, including Grover Alexander pitching the St.

Louis Cardinals to a Game 6 victory in 1926 and Babe Ruth launching three home runs during the 1928 Fall Classic.
