Carolina Panthers QB Returns to Alabama on Bye Week

Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young is making the most of his team’s bye week in Week 5, returning to his Alabama roots for a special appearance on *College Gameday*. The fifth-year quarterback, who has delivered standout performances in his first four games—including a Week 4 win over the Detroit Lions that earned MVP chatter—will join the ESPN show in Tuscaloosa on Saturday.

His visit coincides with Alabama’s upcoming matchup against Georgia, adding a personal touch to the Crimson Tide’s homecoming weekend. Young’s rapid rise in the NFL has drawn attention, with analysts like Field Yates noting his development as a key lesson for young quarterbacks.

The Panthers’ front office now faces a critical decision on his future, as his strong start has put him in the conversation for top honors in the league.
