Carabao Cup: Four more ties plus fourth-round draw on Sky tonight!

Wednesday's Carabao Cup schedule features four third-round fixtures, headlined by Manchester United hosting Brighton, followed immediately by the fourth-round draw. Other match-ups that evening include Everton taking on Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fleetwood Town meeting Sheffield United, and Coventry City clashing with Aston Villa.

Competition proceeds on Thursday with reigning champions Manchester City, who secured last season's trophy with a 2-0 win over Arsenal, squaring off against Norwich City.

Several teams have already progressed through earlier stage-three contests, including Tuesday victories for Arsenal, Liverpool, Brentford, Fulham, and a shootout triumph by Peterborough United over Barnsley following a 3-3 deadlock. Previous third-round clashes saw Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Bradford City, Sunderland, Newcastle, and Chelsea advance.

Following the upcoming round on the week of October 26, the fifth round is planned for mid-December, leading into two-legged semi-finals across January and February ahead of the Wembley final scheduled for Sunday, March 21.
