Canyon has updated its lineup of endurance road bikes, highlighted by the top-tier CFR version initially developed to help Mathieu Van der Poel secure a victory at Paris-Roubaix. Following that flagship release, the manufacturer introduced the secondary CF SLX alongside standard CF and Allroad variants, blending aerodynamic efficiency with an all-day riding position.
The tested CF SLX 8 model arrives in a champagne finish and retails between $4,200 and $5,999 depending on the chosen configuration, which features a Shimano setup and DT Swiss wheels. Weighing in at 8.24kg out of the box for a small frame complete with accessories and mounts, the bicycle features redesigned aerodynamic seat stays, an updated seat tube junction, and a specialized comfort aero seatpost replacing the previous round configuration.
