Can the Florida State Seminoles Become Bowl Eligible?

Florida State sits at an even 2-2 record as they prepare to kick off their conference slate by hosting Virginia on October 3. Head coach Mike Norvell faces mounting questions regarding his squad as they attempt to scratch together six wins for bowl eligibility against remaining opponents boasting a combined 24-8 record.

Quarterback Ashton Daniels has struggled with ball security, throwing five interceptions against six touchdowns, while the defense ranks near the bottom of the FBS across multiple key metrics.

The Seminoles' schedule features stiff challenges ahead, including an undefeated Miami team quarterbacked by Darian Mensah alongside receiver Malachi Toney, and an explosive Florida program led by head coach Jon Sumrall and running back Jaden Baugh. With a daunting path forward and significant vulnerabilities on both sides of the ball, the outlook for Florida State securing a postseason berth appears exceptionally bleak.
