Campbell moves to Durham director of cricket role

Ryan Campbell is transitioning from his position as head coach to become the director of cricket and high performance coaching at Durham. During his four seasons in charge of the men's team, the squad secured two Division Two titles, including an undefeated run this summer.

Campbell succeeds Marcus North, who departed earlier this summer to take over as England's new national selector. In his new capacity, Campbell will help select his replacement while the club prepares for its return to the top flight.

Chief executive Tim Bostock emphasized that maintaining continuity and aligning with the organization's long-term goals heavily influenced the appointment.
