Bumrah has not bowled a T20I since the World Cup final, and in Delhi he was marking out a longer run-up

Jasprit Bumrah remains absent from Twenty20 International action following his appearance in the World Cup title match. The fast bowler has yet to feature in the format for his national side during the period following that tournament decider.

Preparations may be shifting, however, as he was recently observed measuring an extended approach during activity in Delhi.
