Michigan sophomore quarterback Bryce Underwood delivered his best performance of the young season over the weekend, throwing for 276 yards and two touchdowns in a hard-fought contest against Iowa. Although the Wolverines fell short in the final outcome, head coach Kyle Whittingham praised his signal caller for showcasing stellar pocket presence, quick decision-making, and two-hundred-plus yards of passing.
Pass catchers JJ Buchanan and Andrew Marsh both surpassed the century mark in receiving yards, while Jordan Marshall and Savion Hiter combined for 153 rushing yards against a historically stingy defensive unit. Defensively, Michigan completely stifled the opposing ground game by conceding only 50 rushing yards all afternoon.
