Bryce Harper lets Braves take lead with fielding blunder, makes up for it with game-tying HR next inning

During Wednesday's elimination matchup against Atlanta, Philadelphia outfielder Bryce Harper committed a critical fielding miscue in the bottom of the seventh inning. With two runners on and a single out, Harper misjudged a deep fly ball off the bat of Drake Baldwin, allowing the ball to skip off his glove and past his head.

Sean Murphy trotted home from second to give the hosts a 2-1 edge, and the frame eventually concluded with the Phillies trailing by two runs.

Harper quickly redeemed himself at the plate during the subsequent frame. Following a leadoff solo home run by teammate Kyle Schwarber that narrowed the deficit, Harper launched his own solo shot off relief pitcher Raisel Iglesias to level the score at 3-3.

The sequence highlighted a challenging transition back to right field for Harper following his recent defensive relocation.
