Brian Schottenheimer: Great start for Joey Porter Jr., we'll see about Sunday

Cornerback Joey Porter Jr. participated in his initial practice with the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday following a trade late Wednesday night.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer noted that the defender put together a strong opening session and quickly absorbed the playbook. Dallas is evaluating whether Porter will take the field against the Texans on Sunday after he missed the entire summer due to a back issue.
