Brewers take Game 1 from Dodgers, Rays-Guardians ALCS preview & White Sox season recap

Milwaukee secured a narrow victory in the opening game of the National League Championship Series against Los Angeles at home. The contest featured a tight pitching matchup between Tarik Skubal and Jacob Misiorowski, with the Brewers bullpen ultimately holding off the reigning champions to claim a 1-0 series lead.

Looking ahead, the Dodgers will rely on Yoshinobu Yamamoto to help level the series before the teams head to California. In the American League, Cleveland eliminated Chicago in the fifth game of their divisional series.

The Guardians are now scheduled to face the Tampa Bay Rays in Florida to begin their quest for a World Series berth.
