Braves vs Phillies predictions, 2026 playoff schedule for NL wild card

The Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies are renewing their postseason rivalry in a best-of-three National League wild card matchup starting Tuesday. Atlanta secured the top spot in the NL East all season, while Philadelphia stumbled initially before recovering and nearly blowing a playoff berth in the final week.

Chris Sale and Cristopher Sanchez are projected as the starting pitchers for the opening contest at Truist Park. In previous playoff meetings, the Phillies eliminated the Braves in both 2022 and 2023, though Atlanta claimed nine of thirteen games during the regular season.
