Braves hope bullpen can overcome stars in LA

Following a series victory against Philadelphia earlier this week at Truist Park, the Atlanta Braves advance to a best-of-five National League Division Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. For the opening contest, Atlanta plans to utilize a relief pitching strategy to navigate Los Angeles' powerful batting lineup, which finished the season ranked second in wRC+.

Meanwhile, the Dodgers counter with Tarik Skubal taking the mound. During a previous regular-season meeting, Atlanta managed two runs off Skubal across seven innings, featuring a home run by Ozzie Albies.

Game 1 is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, at 4:00 pm EDT, with the action taking place at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium.
