Bowl Projections 2026: Week 4

Following the latest college football action, postseason tracking for the Penn State program points toward various non-playoff destination projections as national title hopes fade among analysts. Yahoo Sports and Sports Illustrated project a matchup against the Texas A&M Aggies in the ReliaQuest Bowl in Tampa, Florida, scheduled for December 31, 2026.

CBS Sports similarly envisions a trip to Tampa for the ReliaQuest Bowl on the exact same date, though facing the Missouri Tigers instead. Meanwhile, ESPN foresees a Citrus Bowl appearance in Orlando on January 2, 2027, featuring an opponent in the LSU Tigers.

Finally, Athlon Sports tabs the squad for a December 31 Tampa date against the Mississippi State Bulldogs, complete with game images featuring Anthony Evans III at Davis Wade Stadium.
