Boston College and its general manager, Kenyatta Watson, have mutually decided to end their association, according to an announcement shared by reporter Pete Thamel on Wednesday afternoon. Watson, who previously played receiver for the program from 1993 to 1996 and worked as an assistant general manager at Auburn, had held the position since December 2025.
During his tenure, the football program heavily utilized the transfer portal to secure thirty newcomers, including his son, Jett Watson. The decision follows a two-win, ten-loss campaign in 2025 and a two-win, three-loss start to the current schedule.
Boston College is scheduled to play a home game against Pitt on Saturday, October 17 at noon Eastern Time.
