Blades Brown among 10 golfers chasing PGA Tour cards at KFT Finals in Virginia

The final stretch of the PGA Tour card chase heats up this week as ten golfers, including rising talent Blades Brown, compete at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship in Virginia. With five players currently hovering on the bubble, a standout performance could secure their spot on the PGA Tour for the upcoming season.

Meanwhile, the golf calendar remains packed with high-stakes events. In Utah, BYU sophomore Kihei Akina earned crucial points toward his PGA Tour card after a top-10 finish at the Bank of Utah Championship, where Austin Smotherman emerged victorious.

Over in Japan, Xander Schauffele leads a stacked field at the Baycurrent Classic, featuring names like Min Woo Lee, Collin Morikawa, and Hideki Matsuyama. The PGA Tour’s global schedule also includes the Spanish Open, while the LPGA and PGA Tour Champions continue to draw attention with events in Hawaii, despite recent changes to the season opener lineup.
