Bills sign former Patriots fullback, release former OL draft pick

The Buffalo Bills have tweaked their roster by adding fullback Brock Lampe, who previously spent time with the division-rival New England Patriots during their 2025 training camp. To clear room on the squad, Buffalo let go of an offensive lineman previously selected in the draft.

Separately, the club recently promoted running back Frank Gore Jr. and wide receiver Greg Dortch from their practice squad ahead of their clash with the Houston Texans.

Those additions coincided with potential adjustments to Buffalo's return game involving Dee Alford, while front-office maneuvering also included renegotiating Michael Hoecht's contract to gain salary cap relief.
