Bill Belichick, North Carolina only cosmetically close in loss to Notre Dame | Opinion

Despite drawing a massive salary of ten million dollars annually, head coach Bill Belichick oversaw a twenty-six to thirty-seven defeat for North Carolina against third-ranked Notre Dame at home in rainy conditions. The Fighting Irish capitalized on early Tar Heel turnovers to build a significant lead, though a ninety-eight yard kickoff return for a touchdown by freshman Jaden Jefferson briefly narrowed the gap during the contest.

Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr orchestrated multiple scoring drives, totaling four touchdowns through both the air and on the ground to secure the victory.
