Bench Shohei Ohtani? Dodgers have to consider drastic action with season in danger

Following a 7-4 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers that left the Los Angeles Dodgers trailing 2-0 in the National League Championship Series, the team is re-evaluating Shohei Ohtani's status. Manager Dave Roberts confirmed discussions will occur regarding Ohtani's availability for Game 3, as the designated hitter struggles with physical ailments and a 3-for-20 postseason batting record.

Ohtani went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in the latest defeat, marking his first playoff game without reaching base. While team leadership previously expressed confidence in a potential offensive resurgence, the looming threat of elimination may force a change in the lineup for the upcoming contest.
