Guardians silence Rays in ALCS Game 1, enough for 'José' chants to ring out at Tropicana Field

The Cleveland Guardians overcame an early two-run deficit to defeat the Tampa Bay Rays 7-3 in the opening game of the American League Championship Series. While the Rays initially gained momentum behind starter Drew Rasmussen, Cleveland rookie Chase DeLauter ignited a comeback with a solo home run in the sixth inning.

Relief pitcher Daniel Espino also played a pivotal role by striking out the side in the fifth, effectively silencing the home crowd. By the end of the contest, visiting fans were loud enough to chant for José Ramírez within the stadium.
