Rafael Nadal praises Carlos Alcaraz and disagrees with what some say about him, ‘makes no sense’

Rafael Nadal recently pushed back against the notion that Carlos Alcaraz is still a developing talent, asserting that the 23-year-old has already cemented his status as a legend with seven major titles. Nadal emphasized that such a high trophy count places Alcaraz among the elite figures in tennis history.

Meanwhile, Alcaraz faced a difficult outing at the Shanghai Masters, where he was eliminated in the third round by Zizou Bergs in straight sets. This defeat follows a recent victory at the Japan Open and leaves the Spaniard looking to secure a Masters 1000 title at the upcoming Paris tournament to avoid finishing the season without one.
