Bear Bachmeier lifts No. 10 BYU to win over TCU after losing LJ Martin

Bearing the load after an early injury sidelined running back LJ Martin, quarterback Bear Bachmeier carried tenth-ranked BYU to a narrow 17-10 victory over TCU on the road. Bachmeier scored both touchdowns on the ground, including a 21-yard go-ahead run late in the contest to secure the defensive struggle.

TCU quarterback Jaden Craig managed 187 passing yards with a touchdown and an interception returned 59 yards by Faletau Satuala, while Nate McCashland added a late field goal before the Cougars recovered the game-sealing onside kick.
