Bath's Bhatti out for months with forearm injury

Bath faces a lengthy spell without summer arrival Jamie Bhatti after the Scottish prop sustained a forearm problem during a pre-season victory against Glasgow. Head of rugby Johann van Graan confirmed that the forward is scheduled for surgery today, sidelining him for several months as the Premiership season approaches.

The team opens its league campaign on Friday away against Harlequins, heading into the fixture without several other sidelined squad members including Vilikesa Sela, Louis Hennessey, Will Muir, and Henry Arundell, though prop Will Stuart returns following a long absence.
