Barcelona monitor Kane & Haaland - Wednesday's gossip

Barcelona are keeping tabs on Bayern Munich's 33-year-old forward Harry Kane and Manchester City's 26-year-old goalscorer Erling Haaland should they fail to land 26-year-old Atletico Madrid attacker Julian Alvarez. Anticipating a possible vacancy if Kane departs, Bayern have identified 24-year-old Newcastle attacker Nick Woltemade, who is presently playing on loan with Juventus, as a candidate to fill his shoes.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have rekindled their pursuit of 24-year-old Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite following his recovery from fitness setbacks, while also tracking 20-year-old Real Madrid frontman Endrick ahead of a potential January departure.

In London, Arsenal are eyeing 18-year-old Liverpool prospect Rio Ngumoha, though the Merseyside club are eager to tie him to fresh terms, while Tottenham maintain their pursuit of 26-year-old Nottingham Forest playmaker Morgan Gibbs-White despite Forest refusing to entertain bids. Elsewhere, 30-year-old midfielder Rodri reached out to Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho to express gratitude for his pursuit before opting to leave Manchester City for Barcelona, where sporting director Deco has engaged in discussions with 29-year-old winger Raphinha regarding a renewal beyond his existing 2028 terms.

Across the continent, AC Milan hold a purchase clause valued at roughly 50 million euros (£42.8m) to permanently acquire 22-year-old attacker Omari Hutchinson from Nottingham Forest.
