Delhi captain Ayush Badoni has reached a historic milestone in the 2026-27 Ranji Trophy, becoming the third player from his state to record double centuries in consecutive first-class appearances. Following a 217-run effort against Gujarat, Badoni struck an unbeaten 210 off 228 balls against Jharkhand, featuring 19 boundaries and three sixes.
This performance helped Delhi reach a total of 515/5, supported by Sumit Mathur's unbeaten 150. By achieving this feat, Badoni joins an elite group of Indian cricketers including Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir.
The 26-year-old has now recorded four double centuries in his career, including one for the North Zone in the 2026 Duleep Trophy.
